Brand Marketing Manager

JOB BRIEF

We are looking for an experienced candidate in consumer products to build early and mid-stage Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) brands.  The ideal candidate meshes with our corporate culture of creating high-quality, high-value products, with integrity, and working well in a collaborative, dynamic, fast-paced team environment.  You will report directly to the Chief Brand Officer and work closely with all stakeholders across the organization. 

As a Brand Marketing Manager, we expect you to be familiar with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our products and brands creatively with the use of influencers, video content, photography, and the written word.   The incumbent should be a self-starter and comfortable working remotely or within the office environment with a sense of urgency and ownership to pull together the right team members to get the job done. 

Marketing Content and Campaign creation: You will be responsible for our campaign strategy for text, video, and photo content deliverables and managing our social media calendar.   The Brand Marketing Manager role will create and run our digital marketing campaigns across multiple paid media platforms including: Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook/Meta Business Suite, Loomly (Social media manager), Linkedin, Active Campaign (email marketing), and Yotpo (customer rewards) and communicate with data driven analysis the ROI to the leadership team.  You will create campaigns within the brand guidelines in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. 

Product Launches and Go-to-market strategies:  You will be responsible for managing the product launch calendar and all of the deliverables across DTC and wholesale channels.  You will work closely with the program management team to ensure that cross-functional communication and deadlines are met, and manage department meetings with all related stakeholders.  

Marketing Activation and Consumer Engagement: You will help support the sales team with on-site activations as needed for our brands which may include product exhibitions, trade shows, demo days, with the ability to tell our product stories to consumers and trading partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under direction from Brand Management: 

  • Manage marketplace accounts to ensure products are represented accurately and optimized for search 
  • Execute Digital and Email Marketing Campaigns and monitor metrics
  • Execute the social media strategy to align with business goals 
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) 
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics 
  • Collaborate with other teams, like Sales and Design to ensure brand consistency 
  • Communicate with followers, respond to inquiries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews 
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout) 
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and contests. 
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications 
  • Work location with close proximity to the office  is preferred. 

Good to have Brand Marketing skills: 

  • Experience in content management 
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video) 
  • General interest and awareness of online marketing and ecommerce channels 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Analytical and multitasking skills 
  • BS degree in Marketing or relevant field  

Golf and Outdoor Sports knowledge a big plus
